Dear EHPM Board,
I am writing to bring to your attention a distressing situation involving the repeated harassment and intimidation of a physician’s family in Debre Birhan. Security personnel have been visiting the doctor’s home—day and night—while the physician works at Debre Birhan Comprehensive Specialized Hospital.
I am writing to bring to your attention a distressing situation involving the repeated harassment and intimidation of a physician’s family in Debre Birhan. Security personnel have been visiting the doctor’s home—day and night—while the physician works at Debre Birhan Comprehensive Specialized Hospital.
The situation has become particularly alarming as the harassment is directed at the caregiver of a four-month-old infant, especially when the child’s mother (the physician) is not at home. Due to fear of arrest, the physician has been forced to change her living environment, leaving the infant’s caregiver in a state of extreme anxiety and distress.
This relentless intimidation is unacceptable, and the well-being of an innocent infant is at stake. We urgently appeal to the EHPM Board to be the voice for this infant and intervene to stop this harassment.
