Imagine spending 7+ years of your life studying medicine — giving up sleep, family time, and a social life just to learn how to save lives. We wake up every day to care for others, even when we haven’t had a moment to care for ourselves. We work long, exhausting hours, handle life-or-death situations daily, and unable to get the recognition we deserve.
We are not asking for luxury. We’re asking for dignity. For fair compensation. For decent working conditions. For recognition of the mental, physical, and emotional toll this profession demands.
To those in power: you can’t silence us with threats or arrests. Arresting doctors will not cure a broken system. We speak up because we care — and no force will mute the voice of truth. The health of this nation depends on its healthcare workers. If we continue to neglect them, the entire system crumbles. We’re not just fighting for ourselves; we’re fighting for a healthier, stronger, and more just future for all.
