Urgent Call for Solidarity: Demand the Release of Our Wrongfully Detained Colleague
Today marks the seventh day since our esteemed colleague—a passionate advocate and prominent voice for healthcare professionals—was unlawfully arrested and imprisoned simply for demanding our rights through his *Dr. Debol* social media platform.
In response, his colleagues at Tibebe Ghion Hospital staged a courageous demonstration, calling for his immediate and unconditional release. They strongly condemned this arbitrary arrest and the ongoing intimidation of healthcare workers. Further, they urged the government to respond concretely and without delay to our 12 critical demands—before the health sector faces severe repercussions.
They emphasized that this movement is purely professional, not political, and stands solely for the rights and dignity of healthcare workers.
