Behind every white coat in Ethiopia is a soul carrying silent pain. They wake before dawn, knowing they will face another day of suffering—of patients dying not from disease, but from the absence of medicine, equipment, or even electricity.
They work endless hours in overcrowded hospitals, with no rest, no relief, and no recognition. Their hands are skilled, their hearts heavy. They treat others with compassion while silently battling burnout, hunger, and hopelessness.
They are paid too little to live, yet asked to give everything. Their families barely see them. Their dreams of healing are often buried beneath systemic neglect. And when they cry out, their voices are lost in a system that refuses to listen.
Yet, still—they stay. They care. They sacrifice. Not because they are unbreakable, but because they believe that maybe, one day, things will change.
